With Cutrine Plus Algaecide, it is recommended (per the product label) to do an “initial dose test” to determine the most effective concentration to eliminate the target species, unless the dosage rate is already know to provide the best results. There are many treatment factors and considerations involved with using this product such as the water temperature (atleast 60 degrees), calm and sunny conditions, direct contact with all cells throughout the water column. If you are not seeing results after 48 hours, additional factors could be interrferring with the results. We would suggest consulting with the manufacturer directly for troubleshooting and to discuss the best steps to treat algae using Cutrine Plus .
