I am having a problem with terminology of the BTI Mosquito Dunks.

The website refers to Mosquito Dunks. The product is sold in pack of 20. Each briquet will effectively treat up to 100 square feet of surface water. I worked out that a pack holds 20 dunks but what is a briquet? I know what it is in French but I doubt that applies here!

Answer:

A briquet is a small brick of compressed coal, sawdust, etc. In this case, it is a small brick of Bacillus thuringiensis subspecies israelensis solids, spores and insecticidal toxins.
