Can I use it when my apple trees are in full bloom? I have my son driving 200 miles to come home this weekend to spray my apple trees. I am wondering if it will ever completely rid my tree of the apple maggots so that I can have usable apples again? What do you recommend I try because I am almost ready to give up after 3 years?
Bonide Fruit Tree Spray Concentrate is a great product used for preventative and curative fungus, insects, etc., on apple trees, and it will target apple maggots. Bonide Fruit Tree Spray Concentrate can be applied from green tip up to 2nd cover to harvest, within 14 days of harvest, as directed on the product label. The mix rate is 1.5 fl oz to 2.5 fl oz in one gallon of water, depending on the apple bloom stage. Please refer to the spray chart on page 5 of the label.
