There could be a number of reasons why the manufacturer does not list fire ants on the product label for Arilon but the most common is that they have not tested it against this particular pest. There are a lot of additional tests and research that go into making sure a product works for fire ants and most manufacturers do not want to go through this hassle so they choose to not list the pest on the label. That does not mean that fire ants will not die if they contact a surface treated with Arilon, it just means that we cannot recommend this product as an effective treatment for fire ants.
