Michael from New Hampshire writes

As a post-emergent, is there any advantage to waiting longer than the 2-3 day recommended minimum to mow after applying Tenacity Herbicide?

In other words, will leaving the treated blades/leaves attached to the plant for as long as possible (say 7 days) allow the product to be more effective or work faster?

Answer:

It is safe to mow areas that have been treated with Tenacity Herbicide 2 days after application.  After that time the product would have worked into the plant enough to not be affected by mowing.  Delaying mowing does not help it work better.
