    Q
If I spray Avenger to kill weeds around a hoophouse is there danger of the citrus oil melting the plastic?
    A

We have not heard of any issues of Avenger Weed Killer Concentrate harming structures, however it can break down seals in some sprayers over time. It should not melt the plastic of the hoophouse, but it could possibly discolor it or weaken it if sprayed directly. It would be best to protect the sheeting with a barrier like cardboard or a tarp, or to test a small area. We also recommend avoiding spraying during the day when it is very hot.

    Q
I've used Avenger Weed Killer Concentrate for past treatments without issue in my 4 gallon Battery Operated Backpack Sprayer. Recently the product seemed to separate from the water and then was coming out as foam. Why is this?
    A

Any separation of the tank mix of Avenger Weed Killer Concentrate with water could be due the shlef life of the product has expired, it was stored in an area exposed to extreme heat or freezing temperaturs causing the active ingredients to separate or break down or mixed solution was left in the sprayer for longer than 24 hours.

For futher information or troubleshooting, we would recommend contacting the manufacturer Agrisel directly at 877-247-4735

    Q
Can Avenger Weed Killer Concentrate be applied to cut stumps in a pasture with mostly pears and sweetgums? I am applying with a Makutu Wand (pvc tube with a brush) to paint the cut surface.
    A

Avenger Weed Killer Concentrate does not give instructions for stump treatments. Per the product label, for harder to kill weeds with a thick cuticle like ivy or vines, it must be mixed with water at a 1:3 ratio. .

Fertilome Brush Killer and Stump Killer is labeled for Sweetgum stump applications when applied undliuted directly to the freshly cut stump with a brush. Do not apply directly to, or allow to drift to, Grapes, Vegetable Crops, Flowers, Ornamentals and others. Please view the product label for more information.
