Avid 0.15 EC Miticide

Got spider mites and tried killing them with soap and neem oil but they always returned after about 2 weeks. Sprayed one time with Avid (vegetative stage only for me) and have not seen a single mite after about 3 or 4 weeks. Would definitely buy again and recommend.

Effective against fuchsia gall mite.

Preliminary results are positive with respect to effectiveness on fuchsia gall mite, but it has only been three weeks. It is difficult to measure out the correct amount for a 24 oz spray bottle.

Mites on grapes

Once I identified that the issue was mites, I sprayed and within 7 days my mite problem was 98% gone. One more spray and now the mite issue is done. Excellent product!

Gone with the spider mites~

This powerful stuff helped me get rid of spider mites for good on twenty plus houseplants. I had to apply twice on some precious aroids, but above all it's an amazing product.

Kills mites

I've had a very heavy spider mite infestation on an English Laurel hedge for years. Avid 0.15 is the most effective miticide out there, that I know of. I bought Avid, and sprayed the hedges every 10 days using a hose end sprayer. Those buggers and the new hatchlings are dead! Good stuff!

It really works

Expensive but after a few applications I have never seen out Hybiscus so healthily. Highly recommend should have purchased years ago. Tried all the other Home Depot products and they are a waste of money

Killed Mites on my Brugmansia

Brugmansia are fantastic, volorful, fast growing with lots of trumpet growers. But mite infestations are terrible. This took them out.

Spider Mites

I had tried A couple of different pesticides on these little heathens and nothing worked. So I got on Do My Own and read the reviews on Miticide and tried it. It mad a huge difference in controlling them but hasn't stopped them 100%, but still better than before. Based on that I would recommend this product.

So far it looks like my plants are healthier than before I used this product. I will be using it on a regular basis. The protection I have to use is a little much but worth the effort. On my camellias I now have a different bug making holes in the leaves. It is hard to keep up with all the insect damage.

Recommended Product

Avid is recommended by fellow growers for getting rid of mites on African Violets. Too early to report on it's effectiveness. Mites are hard to kill without damaging the plants. Domyown made it easy to find the Avid at a reasonable price and in a small quantity.
