Axilo Mix 5 (0-0-0) is used for correction of micronutrient deficiencies, it would not be the same as aerating your lawn which is mainly done to alleviate soil compaction.

Looking for better instructions regarding how and when to apply this product to correct soil deficiencies in a a fescue lawn. Have about a 1/2 acre.AAxilo Mix 5 (0-0-0) is mixed at 0.25 to 2 lbs per acre and make at least 3 applications a year. The label does state to use low rates for maintenance, medium rates for medium deficiencies, and the high rate for extreme deficiencies.
