Answer:

A Flys Be Gone Trap is effective for up to 4 to 6 weeks but have been known to be effective for up to 3 months in some cases. Traps should be hung approximately 30ft away from the area where flies are active and will lure and catch flies within 50-100 yards of the trap. For best results, hang fly traps 4-5 ft from the ground and in areas of direct sunlight.
