    Bayer Advanced Brush Killer Plus Concentrate should not be applied when there are animals present during the application and while wet. Once completely dry, it is safe for animals to enter the treated areas.

    The Bayer Advanced Brush Killer Plus Concentrate mix rate is the same for a hose end sprayer as it is for a pump sprayer. You will use 4 oz. per gallon of water.

    Would Bayer Advanced Brush Killer Plus Concentrate kill bamboo?
    A

    Bayer Advanced Brush Killer Plus Concentrate is not labeled for bamboo. However, we have heard if you cut down the bamboo level with the ground and apply a Triclopyr based product undiluted to the fresh-cut it can help kill it out. Bamboo is extremely stubborn, so it can take several steps to remove it completely. You can use Round Up QuickPro at the highest listed usage rate to help eliminate bamboo. You will be required to cut the bamboo down to a short stump and then apply the Round Up QuickPro. It can take several applications to achieve the desired results.

    Will Bio Advanced brush killer concentrate work if u only have roots and no leaves/foliage to spray???
    My daughter(God bless your little heart) pulled the weeds in the garden but left 95% of the roots sticking out of the ground!!!

    If very tender plants such as cucumber seedlings were sprayed with Bio Advanced Brush Killer Plus by mistake how soon could effects show?
    May have sprayed some newly sprouted cucumber plants and 8" tall tomato plants by mistake. How soon would tender plants show symptoms so I'll know whether to replant? I understand it normally takes a week or more to see results but should very tender plants show signs sooner?

    An herbicide such as Bio Advanced Brush Killer Plus Concentrate will generally cause visible yellowing or wilting on plants within about 7-10 days, and sooner in warmer weather. This label does indicated that visible results may take from 1-6 weeks (this should be on the short end for young plant). If desirable plants are accidentally sprayed, then you should rinse them with water as soon as possible. 

    We recommend watching the plants for at least a week, and if you see that plants in an area were damaged, you should not replant in that area for at least one month, and preferably for one year. Please refer to the product label for complete application instructions.

    If Brush Killer Plus Concentrate is mixed 2 weeks before use will it still be effective enough to kill very tender seedling plants?
    Sprayed newly sprouted cucumber and tomato plants by mistake, but the product had been mixed 2 weeks earlier. Will it lose enough effectiveness by being diluted for weeks to be harmless to tender plants?

    Once Bayer Advanced Brush Killer Plus Concentrate has been mixed with water, it should be used or discarded within 24 hours.

    If not, what do you recommend?

    Bio Advanced Brush Killer Plus Concentrate could harm clematis if sprayed directly but is not labeled to control it so we cannot recommend it for this use.  It looks like a glyphosate based product would be best for controlling it.

    How long until a raised garden beds be placed after using Bio Advanced Brush Killer Plus?

    It is recommended to wait at least 3 weeks before replanting in the areas where Bayer Advanced Brush Killer Plus Concentrate was applied. Removing the treated soil and replacing with fresh soil before planting is also recommended.

    Does storage at zero degrees ruin Bio Advanced Brush Killer Plus Concentrate?

    Bio Advanced Brush Killer Plus Concentrate should be stored in a cool, dry place. If temperatures were below freezing (or extreme heat), it would be recommended to replace the product prior to use. It is not suggested to store products in the garage, sheds etc where there is a fluctuation in temperatures.

    Per the SDS for Bio Advanced Brush Killer Plus Concentrate: FIRST AID FOR SKIN: Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15-20 minutes. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.

    Potato vine is in my ligustrum hedge. Will Bio Advanced Brush Killer Plus Concentrate them if I use?

    Bio Advanced Brush Killer Plus Concentrate uses the active ingredient triclopyr which is known to kill the invasive air potato vine. Per the product label, this product will kill or injure all woody plants contacted and it is recommended to use a sheet of cardboard or plastic to protect desirable plants from accidental contact with the product. The application instructions are the same as a stump treatment, "completely cover freshly cut stump with undiluted product using a paintbrush. Do not reuse paintbrush for other uses. When discarding, wrap brush in newspaper and put in trash."

    Where's the expiration date on the bottle of Bio Advanced Brush Killer Plus Concentrate?

    We do not have access to products on the warehouse floor due to the high volume of orders that are being processed. We can assure you that our stock is delivered several times a week and the shelf life of Bio Advanced Brush Killer Plus Concentrate is 2-3 years when stored out of extreme temperatures and in a cool dry environment. 

     If you receive anything that has a date you feel is unacceptable, please let us know and we will be happy to assist you with a return and a prepaid label.
