    Q
How much Bayer Oust XP Herbicide per gallon of water for spraying ditches?
I need to spray a large drainage ditch to kill Johnson Grass and other weeds. I'll be mixing the Oust with 2 ounces of Glyphosate per gallon along with surfactant and dye marker in a 15 gallon tank. How much Oust do I include per gallon for good post and pre-emergent control? I've used the Oust/Glyphosate mixture many times before with great success, but can't remember how much Oust I included.
    A

In the states of Louisiana and Texas, Bayer Oust XP Herbicide  may be used for weed control on dry, drainage ditch banks. Do not apply in or on irrigation ditches or canals including their outer banks. It is applied at 1 1/3-2 oz per acre.

    Q
Can Bayer Oust XP Herbicide be applied as a pre and post emergent to Bermuda lawn without injuring the lawn? What would be the mix ratio to treat 1 acre in a 20 gallon spray tank?
    A

Bayer Oust XP Herbicide is labeled for use on Forestry and non-crop sites and not for residential lawn applications. Without knowing the weeds you are targeting, we are not able to make recommendation for a selective herbicide.

Please review our Lawn Care Guides for help with treating the most common weeds and our How to Care for Bermuda Lawn Guide for more information.
