It took less than one minute after setting up the Beetle Bagger to start attracting Japanese beetles. You can smell the lure at some distance from the trap. We are incredibly happy with this product. Our neighbors have a different brand that is much inferior in catching beetles. Its lure has only one component in comparison to the two found in Beetle Bagger. Our roses would be a terrible sight and eaten up by the beetles without the Beetle Bagger.

These kits and lures really work! They're better at catching beetles than the other brands sold at Big Box stores. I hang one at start of our beetle season in June and catch a bag full even before I see any visually in the garden. I order extra bags and a fresh bait each season. Shipping is free and fast.
