We live by a lake in GA, and have a floating covered boat dock, and a pontoon boat. The first year, we had endless spider webs, in the roof structure of the dock, and in various corners of the boat's interior. Along with spiders, we got mud wasps, with their muddy mess all over the dock beams, and in many nooks and crannies in the boat. I bought Bifen IT, and sprayed liberally around both the dock and the boat. For the last two years, the spider webs and mud nests have been GONE!!. Since the spray is on the underside of the roof, it lasts virtually all summer. I do the dock only twice per year, and the boat about 4 times. With these results, I am now spraying the house, particularly under the eaves and porches, but also around doors, windows, and foundations with terrific results. AMAZING product, and highly recommended for general insect control.

the only downside to this is having to read the directions on how much to mix. (its alot to read) it all depends on what your spraying and where. follow it right and you cant beat it. cheap and effective. beats paying 29.99 a gallon at a local hardware store for a name brand that only works for a few days. this stuff works for awhile. just make sure you spray it with no rain for a few days. i used it mainly on carpenter ants in my hickory trees. has killed them and kept them off trees now for 4 weeks now. i also sprayed it around the perimeter of my house and havent seen any ants, bugs or spiders since.

Using Bifen on the yard is a schedule we maintain due to its reliability of keeping the insects away. Using a hand garden sprayer with variable settings, we are able to do foundation, yard or gargen with little time spent at the project. We are as bug free as possible without taking the bugs on one at a time. Lumpiness could be improved, I have to remove sprayer screen to assure passage of Bifen to mix. Using commercial fellows, I find little trust with amounts used to do the job effectively.

Haven't seen any springtails or ants since I have sprayed all the windows and around the outside of the house. Will definitely be using this every summer.

I've used the Bifen IT in and around my Home, Office, and Camping Trailer, and it works as advertised. I got a Quart, so it should last the rest of this summer, but I'm sure I'll be ordering more for next year.

I had a few Impatients in which the new leaves were deformed and the growth bud looked stunted. Search in Internet revealed that the cause is "Impatient mites", which are are too small to be visible with the naked eye. Based on forums and usage labels of many products, the impression I got was that pyrethrin family of insecticides would be effective, and among them Bifen would be a better one. Mind you, the newer miticides (after Kelthane was stopped) are too expensive for a home owner. So I ordered Bifen. I moved my Impatients from inside the house to the deck, and sprayed them four times at four day intervals -- from all sides including the underside of leaves.. The new growth is normal and the growth buds look healthy. For me, it has worked very well. A note about the bottle. It has a 1 oz side attachment for measurement. Hold the bottle upright and squeeze it to transfer the liquid into the small bottle. I think it is a great feature -- no need to dirty and clean measuring cup or spoon - DKS

Bifen IT works really well! We used it in an area that is pretty wooded and shaded (meaning LOTS of mosquito's!) We then had torrential rain, so we re-applied later. Even with all the rain, heat and humidity Bifen IT controlled the mosquito's, we could defineately tell the area that had been treated. It seemed as if it actually created a magic circle, if you stepped out of the area, those mosquito's were there waiting for you!!

I had a severe problem with Elder Box bugs and japenese bettles to the point where my yard was infested. They were everywhere, on the gound, on the brick and all over my plants I treated my backyard, sidewalk and front yard once and they all died! I was very very happy. I have referred friend and family to this site as well for this product. Also, you don't use very much of this product and still gets the job done! Plus, it safe for pet & children after it's dry.

I have used other similiar products but so far, Bifen IT has been the best to help control and eliinate silverfish around the outside of the house.

This year has been the worst year for my plants/flowers. They were getting eaten by things I couldn't even see, spider mites. I searched for products and tried many to no avail. Then I found Bifen IT and it works!!!! I was worried it would kill my flowers but instead, the flowers looked more beautiful while it took care of those spider mites. I am so glad to have found this product. It even killed some Japense Beatles that showed up for dinner on my plants. Thanks so much!!!! I'm so happy with this product and will buy more!

I have been fighting billbugs for about 10 years now, and have tried everything from the big box stores. None of it has really worked. I ordered this product as a last resort before just giving up. It was the best thing I ever did for my bug problem. I sprayed my lawn and about a half hour later went out do some other work and saw a fair amount of billbugs trying to get out of my lawn. Had never seen this before. I also sprayed around the house and in front of the garage door. The next morning there were about a dozen different critters belly up, in front of the garage door. While spraying the lawn I noticed a grasshopper issue starting in my flower beds. Sprayed in there and haven't seen 1 grasshopper since. Honestly, and it has been about a month now. To try and eleminate my problem I power raked and pulled out a 1000 pounds of thatch, a couple weeks later. My thinking was those that survived the first spray wouldn't survive this time. Since then I have not seen a billbug alive. I have been on my hands and knees a few times since spraying and haven't seen any bugs and my lawn is trying to make a come back. I would also like to mention that I have dogs and just followed instructions of letting product dry before letting them on lawn. No issues with the animals.

Seems to do a really good job killing bugs. I've used it twice already and can tell a huge difference in the amount of mosquitos.

Best insecticide that I have found for Japanese Beetles yet. It lasts sooo much longer than sevin, malathion, diazanon, neem oil ! All the others, the beetles were back the next day. I am beetle free after 2 weeks! This will be all I use from now on. Great price as well.

I use Bifen IT on a regular basis and have found it to be very effective against all types of bugs. It bonds to the soil very well and is safe to use around plants, flowers, and trees. I have also had great results with controlling mosquitoes with this product. This is a very affordable and reliable product to help keep you pest free!

I sprayed the Bifen IT on a Monday morning and by Tuesday evening I started seeing dead roches and lots of spiders just like I like them---DEAD. I used the Bifen granuals around my shrubs and flowerbeds and 5 trees that I planted in the front yard the same day I sprayed and there are still ant mounds around the shrubs and trees but there is not one fireant anywhere near those mounds, it wiped them out. One more thing, I got my order a day earlier than scheduled delivery. Folks if you are considering doing your own pest control, Do My Own Pest Control is the way to go.

Excellent product!! I had a ever growing problem of seeing the large american roaches, or water bugs in my house. One every week, then 2 a week, that was enough!! Sprayed bifin around house, in garage, in the attic, on pipes, studs, and around perimeter near vented areas. Last treatment lasted over a year!! No smell or residue, Great product. Thanks

This works GREAT and FAST. I used it heavily on the outside, inside and garage of our three bdrm home. Have found ( within 24 hrs) nothing but dead insects ( ants, roaches, spiders, silverfish, etc.) . we didn't know we HAD some of the pests we found dead or dying. What great product. It is true, as many have already stated, that the mixing instructions are not clear. Needs to be addressed. However, to be safe, I OVERdid the amount of Bifen the "instructions" seemed t be calling for, per water portion. Either way../IT WORKS and FAST. We live in Central Florida where it rains hard and often in the summer. Rainfalls and winds have done NOTHING to effect the potency ( though the Bifen has dried, is invisible...) outside. I watch ALL bugs stop in their tracks and rythe in pain until they die where they stand after just a few minutes. Amazing stuff. It does not stain walls, carpet, baseboards at all whatsoever. Just keeps working invisibly. Will be getting more for sure, if and when we need it. It surprisingly even has kept mosquitoes and most moths away outside,too, as I sprayed it on the outside patio lights and a small section of the surrounding wall. Get it. You will NOT be sorry. I got this cause my wife was tired of bugs inside and out. The night I got it I sprayed everything. The next day I had more spiders and earwigs on my carpet then one would like to see. My outside was pest free also. I would buy this again in a heart beat. It has been over a month and I think I will do it again right before winter to keep everything out!! I recommend to anyone

This product should receive a very high rating. We have used it for those ant piles that pop up in the yard. After mixing the Bifen with water and spraying, instead of the ants picking up and building another mound, they just died. The product can also be used for other insects. Great product. Would purchase again.

I had trouble with Crickets, Grasshoppers, Mosquitoes, Beetles, Ants, Spiders, Wasps & Hornets. I am waiting for the Box Elder Bugs. I sprayed all my plants around the foundation, window wells, doors and inside the garage doors. I was suprised to see it still working even after an 1 inch rain. Very pleased with the out come. I sprayed early in the morning before the light breeze came up and had good coverage.

I have been using Home Defense Concentrate by Ortho to spray around the exterior of my home for several years. Until then I was happy to use it until I found Bifen IT which is more concentrated and cheaper to use. Living in Florida we have many problems with bugs and it is a must to spray around your home. From now on, I will be buying Bifen IT from DoMyOwnPestControl - excellent company to do business with.

Handled my grub and turf insect problems with one application. Sprayed the foundation as directed and kept ants out of my house. Highly Recommended. Note: you may want to look at mixing with a surfactant to improve coverage.

Great product! Don't look for immediate results. 40 plus dead stink bugs on window ledge day after use. It's been 3 weeks now and still finding dead stink bugs around house. Haven't found one in house yet!

We had stink bugs so bad, you could hardly step out the door without one landing on you. I sprayed at dusk one evening and the next day the stink bugs were all dead - YEAH!!! I have my sanity back !! I plan on spraying once a month until winter comes (Sept-Dec) DoMyOwnPestControl was great, shipping was really fast!
