I bought a 20 acre horse ranch in Florida that was over-run with fire ants. Tried all the typical stuff you can buy at retail stores. Nothing worked. Purchased Bifen XTS, sprayed down into the mound. Came back about 2 hours later and it was a sea of "dead red"! I still have an occasional hill start up, but I get them quick and now it's hard to find a hill! Works. Don't waste your money on granules and powders.

This stuff does the job. Larger bugs take a little extra facial application :) The residual capability is what I like. Sprayed around the base of the garage and the window sills. Flying pests still dying 2 weeks later. Concentration of this product is what counts. I get the equivalent of 20 bottles of "Home Defense" from this little jug. If I follow the directions...

After throwing lots of $$$ away using several products from the bbs's, I tried Bifen XTS. I'm glad I did. Other stuff just made my fire ants relocate. Not with Bifen. It took 2 apps on a 3' diameter mound, but after the 2nd app, they're history. And on the smaller mounds, 1 app and not another peep out of them. Rating Bifen according to how well it works, I say this stuff is a bargain.

Bifen XTS

I purchased a quart of Bifen XTS and sprayed my yard in early October as the label recommends. It is now April 20 and we are starting to get some bugs back. We live in Alabama and have a ton of bees, wasp, spiders, scorpions, fleas, skeeters, etc... Dog's on Nexguard, Cat on Revolution, yard on Bifen done!!!

Chiggers are gone

We had a pretty bad infestation of Chiggers, which are almost impossible to see until you start itching, and by then you're too late... my wife had hundreds of the most intense itching her sensitive Southern Californian body has ever felt. Instead of selling our newly bought Texas house and retreating back to SoCal, with our tails between our legs - I found domyownpestcontrol.com and discovered Bifen XTS. Based on the Q&A and reviews I wanted something that would last a bit longer (oil based) and would not only take out those chigger but also be pet and kid friendly. The day after I sprayed my 2 acres with a tow behind sprayer I notice several dead crickets and beetles. I walked my yard yesterday after work barefoot with no bug spray - smiling ear to ear since we are now Chigger free!

Sprayed shady perimeter of yard before dark and haven't seen a mosquito since. Before spraying we couldn't go outside without mosquito repellant. Now the kids can go outside without being bitten. Great product. Will reapply in thirty days or if I see a reinfestation.

Boathouse

I live on the water and I got a 20 by 40 ft long Upper Deck above my boat that I put metal pan ceiling in, thinking it would keep away spiders. I was so wrong. Two weeks ago I cleaned off all the spider webs and sprayed bifen on it and no more spider webs or spider poop all over my boat. This stuff is awesome.

The ordering process was easy and the product was delivered on time. Used for the first time last night (6/5) around the perimeter of my pole shed to control a carpenter ant infestation. This morning I have dead carpenter ants everywhere with no signs of insect life. I'm impressed with the initial results. Spraying the rest of my property tonight in an effort to reduce the mosquito population. I have complete confidence this stuff will do the job.

I have had a terrible FIRE ANT problem in my yard for years. I tried home solutions, granular and powder fire ant killers with varied results. FINALLY have found something that really kills the mounds. BIFEN XTS REALLY works ! A 32oz bottle will make up to 64 gallons of Fire Ant solution that REALLY works when applied correctly. Mix a half oz to one gallon of water in a tank sprayer adjust nozzle to spray a steady stream and depending on the size of the mound spray 4 to 8 seconds in the center and a ring around the mound as an added touch. Presto no more fire ants! This stuff has a multitude of uses! The shipping was very fast and have referred to my friends who have also purchased and been very pleased with DoMyOwnPestControl !

Good mixability, I was primarily going after mosquitos and it worked very well. I used 1oz/gal and that seemed like a good rate. Some light agitation before you spray will help distribute the active ingredient in the water.

I spray my yard, around the perimeter of my house, and my shop with this product. I had a problem with brown widows and have not seen one since last year when I sprayed. This stuff kills almost any insect. I use a half ounce per gallon so the quart bottle goes a long way. I highly recommend this product.

After years of paying for pest control at $30-$40 per month, I got tired of paying for the technician to be at my home for 10 minutes, barely spray and leave. For the cost of one month of service, I bought this product and do it myself. I must say this stuff works, and it has the same active ingredient that the "professionals" use.

We are having a bad year for chiggers and company is coming with 2 small children that want to play outside. I have never sprayed my yard for chiggers before so this is my first use. Delivery was prompt and I used my riding mower towed tank sprayer at the lowest recommended concentration. I sprayed the entire lawn and the plant beds. We were outside a lot for horseshoes, giant Jenga, swimming, tree climbing, fireworks, etc. and got no chigger bites.
