Bifen was suggested to me at a local garden center when I asked what was the best pesticide for fire ants. The farmers I spoke with were right! This truly is a great product not only for fire ants, but it also works great on spiders and numerous other bugs around the house. Very happy not to have to continue to purchase granules that are not half as effective. It's easy to use, not expensive and covers a large area.

The effectiveness of Bifen goes without saying. Simply follow the instructions and precautions and ticks and other pests will disappear for a few weeks. There are several sources that you can purchase Bifen from but my preference is and has been Do My Own Pest Control because they simply provide the most information, fantastic shipping speed, and always, always provide the product as advertised without any hassle.

I am fortunate enough to have a winter place in southwest FL and a summer place up north. I have been using Bifen XTS in FL for 2 years. No evidence of red ants or termites, etc. This year I tried it up north on mosquitoes and deer ticks. It has worked great. I've been up here on 5 acres and have kept 1 + acres free on mosquitoes. No bites on 12 different guests. and more importantly no evidence of deer ticks when everyone in the surrounding areas a taking 2 or 3 off of each other every week.

Awesome product I put it out in early morning and by the afternoon I could see dead bugs on the porch and side walk. Smell last about a day but if mixed the right way you should be alright

Applied with a sprayer canaster attached to garden water house. Living in Florida bugs are everywhere, lots of plants and foliage around pool area which attracts insects, a moderate spray down gets the job done. Read directions can be harmful to pets and delicate foliage, helps if applied in morning, evening or after a light rain, not on a hot summmer day, it evaporates to fast, do the same technique on your lawn to control most insects, can be used for preventing ants and termites digging a trench around the house foundation and mixing in 5 gallon buckets and pouring in the trench

I used bifen on my grass to get rid of the bugs and it worked..let's see for how long, also I spray with it around the perimeter of my house and haven't had any problems

As I was spraying around my house, I found a huge fire ant bed that has been there a long time. I simply touch the top of the ant bed with my spray nozzle and pulled the trigger. The spray opened a hole in the ant bed so I just pushed the nozzle into the ant bed and continued spraying for about 15 seconds. Then I moved to another location on the bed and repeated the operation. I came back to the ant bed the next day and found piles of dead ants but no live ones.

Every morning we would wake up to bugs all over the outside of our cabin. It was a constant struggle to keep the bugs and cobwebs off. We tried Bifen XTS and it seems to work perfectly. After 2 weeks we still don't have bugs on our siding. It was fast and simple to apply. We did use a respirator mask while applying it

It happens quick, gets a little dry and hot all the time and the lawn is under attack. Chinch bugs do the most damage and the grubs below them are moving in too. Time to act, not fool around with wimpy box store brands. Mixed up a tank sprayer, then 3 more times to cover, used caution and I prevailed. Thanks for the help!

I've been at my summer cabin now for 2 mos. and mosquito, fly, ant and tick free. So it seems to work as well in northern PA as southern FL. I have a fairly large area to cover so I dilute the Bifen XTS enough so I can put it in a hose end sprayer and get a nice high and broad distribution of the spray.

I bought 600$ in granular and concentrate from home depot to do nothing. Paid a pest control 150$ to help a small amount. To pay 40$ at do my own to get rid of a problem I struggled with for a year. 2 weeks later no ants.

Based on many reviews I will give it a try. I always used Talstar as it wipes out cockroaches, will this also wipe roaches out? It doesn't state on label and nobody mentioned it.

I have used Bifin for many years and this product is the best stuff I have ever used, it doesn't have that strong "perfume or floral" smell that typical store bought bug sprays have and I use it a couple of times a year over the whole house, plants and grass and I'm bug free. Easy to use, just measure out, fill a sprayer, spray and you're done! No need to pay for the expensive pest control services or hassles of them trying to up sell you to add to their profits.

This product works great on most insects. Spiders and wasp require a little extra coverage.

Fire Ants were taking control of our lawn. We had tried "everything" in Lowe's stock and all other so called remedies for this problem. Then we heard about Bifen, so we began an internet search. Do Your Own website seemed to have it all. We chose the Bifen XTS because of the percentage of active ingredients. Figured it would take a lot so ordered 2 quarts. We were wrong, haven't used half a quart yet and have eliminated all signs of any fire ants. Treated mounds early mornings checked late afternoon for signs of life, NONE! Watched areas, if small mounds started in area, treated them. THIS STUFF IS AWESOME.

Fire ants are gone thanks to Bifen XTS. I received the product within just a few days, as promised. This stuff really works to exterminate red fire ants. My pest control company wanted to charge me $50 per mound...I had 4 large mounds in my backyard. Plus, they wanted $75 per month for continued monthly monitoring... Thanks DoMyOwn...now I do my own red ant pest control....now...for the gophers....grrrr...

This has been like magic to myself and my animals! It has stopped fire ant hills, flying/stinging/biting insects and just about anything I could've ever dreamed of, from making life unbearable! I would recommend this product to anyone!

Better than paying a spray company a huge sum to spray their diluted stuff. I dig a small trench and pour the mixed Bifen from a bucket all around foundation and spray it in my yard to kill termites that may be in the yard. Just use gloves and don't breath. Ha ha! At 74 I still do my own pest control!

This is the second time I've purchased Bifen from DMO. They are just on the other side of Atlanta so got the package in just two days. I spray the perimeter of the house and bugs just can't get in. It's super strong and lasts about six months. So just twice a year and I don't have to spray inside. It is quite stinky and not made for indoor use but if you can stop bugs from getting in, it's a great deal all around.

1/3 ounce per gallon mixed in a garden hand watering can destroy 2 fire ant mounds and bottle lasts for many treatments . Tried powders, sprays, crystals etc and nothing worked as well as this!
