Almost as good as the T-Rex

This trap is very good and works great but the T-Rex version prevents the rat from coming in from the back and setting off the trap without being under the wire jaw. Both this and the T-Rex have one flaw in the design; the point where the paddle trip lever engages the setting hook is thin enough plastic that over time the plastic chips out and the trap can no longer be set. I glue small strips of flashing metal on this area when it fails to rejuvenate the trap for extending its usage. The plus for these traps is they use a metal pin at the back pivot on the trigger where the T-Rex uses a plastic rod that will break over time.

Fantastic, best ever

These work great.i've caught seven mice in 3 days at my house. I use a combination of peanut butter and a raisin in the bait well and that really does the trick. These work so much better than those cheap victor traps with the plastic bait holder which spring the minute you put them down on the surface.
