    Does Bio Advanced 3-in-1 Insect Disease & Mite Control harm beneficial insects?
    A

    Yes, Bio Advanced 3-in-1 Insect Disease & Mite Control Concentrate is toxic to bees, moths, butterflies or hummingbirds while wet. It is recommended that you do not apply this product while bees are active or to flowering plants. The tau-flauvinate is the residual topical insecticide and it is non-toxic to bee once dry.

    Can Bio Advanced 3-in-1 Insect Disease & Mite Control Concentrate be used on blue spruce?
    A

    Bio Advanced 3-in-1 Insect Disease & Mite Control Concentrate only lists Crabapples (Ornamental), Dogwoods and Other Small Landscape Trees on the label as application sites, we would not recommend it for use on larger trees like blue spruce.

    Can Bio Advanced 3-in-1 Insect Disease & Mite Control Concentrate be applied to new shrubs at 7 day intervals instead of every 14 days for 3 applications? Is treating every 7 days more effective than every 14 days?

    Per the product label, a repeat application of Bayer Advanced 3-in-1 Insect Disease & Mite Control Concentrate can be made every 7 to 14 days. For heavy/bad infestations, spraying every 7 days is fine, if necessary.

    Will Bioadvanced 3-in-1 kill green lacewings or their larvae?
    I have been fighting whitefly on my deck plants all summer. I have applied green lacewing eggs to my calibrachoa in an effort to not use chemicals. At the moment, the whiteflies are winning the battle. I would like to know if it will kill the lacewing eggs, larvae or adults if I use Bioadvanced 3-in-1 on my calibrachoa.

    Is this product taken up into the roots of plants.
    I sprayed this on my garden and then read immediately afterwards that its not to be used on food plants. I immediately heavily washed down the plants and fruits with a sprayer head. Will they be safe to eat?

    Imidacloprid is one of the active ingredients in Bayer Advanced 3-in-1 Insect Disease & Mite Control Concentrate which can work systemically through the roots. Usually when the product is washed immediately you could still save your food plants but because of the active ingredients we recommend to contact Bio Advanced at 877-229-3724.

    If I accidentally sprayed my grass with Bio Advanced 3-in-1 Insect Disease & Mite Control Concentrate, will it kill the grass?

    The Bio Advanced 3-in-1 Insect Disease and Mite Control Concentrate has no properties to kill grass as its not an herbicide. This is an insect and disease control and prevention product only.

    Can Bio Advanced 3-in-1 Insect Disease & Mite Control Concentrate be applied using a trigger spray bottle?

    Bio Advanced 3-in-1 Insect Disease & Mite Control Concentrate is not designed for use in trigger sprayers as it could clog the sprayer. For a thorough and effective application, it is best used in hand pump or backpack sprayers.

    How long is the Bio Advanced 3-in-1 effective for after mixing?
    Can a mixed solution be stored for long periods or must it be used immediately?

    Once mixed, Bio Advanced 3-in-1 Insect Disease & Mite Control Concentrate needs to be sprayed within 24 hours to keep the potency and effectiveness.

    Bio Advanced 3-in-1 Insect Disease & Mite Control Concentrate is labeled for scale insects (crawler stages) and can be used on a variety of ornamentals, shrubs and trees. Please refer to the product label for application rate depending on the type of sprayer you are using.

    Everything in my garden has flowers now, trying to use Bio Advanced 3-in-1 Insect Disease & Mite Control Concentrate
    Directions say not to apply when plants are flowering... is this true?

    That is correct and any instructions on product labels are what you should follow.As this product is a systemic, it has a higher impact to beneficial insects such as bees and other pollinators. The instructions for the Bio Advanced 3-in-1 Insect Disease and Mite Control state to either apply it prior to bloom, or after all petals have fallen off, to avoid harm to bees.

    Bayer Advanced 3-in-1 Insect Disease & Mite Control Concentrate is toxic to bees while the application is wet. It is recommended that you do not apply this product while bees are active or to flowering plants. The tau-flauvinate is the residual topical insecticide and it is non-toxic to bee once dry. It would not harm birds when used as directed.  It is recommended to apply when they are not in the area and there is enough time for treatment areas to dry before they are. Please refer to the label for complete application instructions.

    The Bio Advanced 3-in-1 Insect Disease & Mite Control Concentrate is safe for use on ornamental trees but the product label not specifically state Bee Balm. We suggest contacting the manufacturer directly for confirmation. Please contact the Bio Advanced Division of Bayer at 877-229-3724 for more information.

    Bio Advanced 3-in-1 Insect Disease & Mite Control Concentrate is toxic to bees and other insect pollinators and can kill them if contacted while wet. Applications should not be made while bees are actively foraging and do not apply this product to blooms or plants that are flowering. Applications should be made after all flower petals have fallen off.

    Can vegetables be salvaged if accidentally sprayed with Bio Advanced 3-in-1 Insect Disease & Mite Control Concentrate?

    Bio Advanced 3-in-1 Insect Disease & Mite Control Concentrate should not be applied to edible vegetation. Any fruits/vegetables treated with this product should be discarded.
