Bayer Advanced Fruit, Citrus and Vegetable Insect Control will move through treated plants in one week to 3 months (for very large trees), so treatment is typically done in the spring before summer pests are found in the area. If you are treating very large trees in an area with a long growing season, then you could potentially treat in the fall so that the product will be absorbed throught the entire plant by spring. Per the product label, since there is no specific pre-harvest interval for citrus, it can be applied anytime on listed citrus trees, with a maximum application of once per year.
Bayer Advanced Fruit, Citrus, and Vegetable Insect Control may be safely used on labeled Citrus trees such as Calamondin, Citrus citron, Citrus hybrids (includes chironja, tangelo, and tangor), Grapefruit, Kumquat, Lemon, Lime, Mandarin (tangerine), Pummelo, Orange (sweet and sour), and Satsuma mandarin. Labeled Citrus that have been treated with Bayer Advanced Fruit, Citrus, and Vegetable Insect Control are safe to consume. Please read over the Product Label for complete use instructions.
