Needs to be more durable, leaks from everywhere. Why replace a decent aspect of the product with a cheaper and less dependable material (plastic)?

Great product, they finally made it so the lever is interchangeable on both sides. I'll finally be able to take my shirt off at the beach and not look lopsided!

We have been using these sprayers for years. I have never thought they were made cheaply and we recently bought another one with the interchangeable pump lever. I can't imagine where one would leak. We beat them up quite a bit and when something wears out you rebuild it and it is like new.

Done with Birchmeier. I've been using Birchmeier for 12+ years and this new version is simply horrible. The new piston assembly is designed not to leak yet I'm about to replace my second assembly...for $100 and the backpack isn't even 3 years old. I can purchase an entirely new Chaplin backpack for under $100. So... I'm going to purchase a Chaplin. So long Birchmeier, let me know if you decide to manufacture well built sprayers again.

I've only had my birchmeier backpack, 2.5 gallon, for maybe a month and, all ready, I'm having a problem with chemical bypassing into the air chamber, which I read that someone else had the same problem! This was part of the reason why I had to buy a new one! This should not be happening!! I'm not impressed with the plastic handle either! It has went up in price by $100 in the last 5 years, but, obviously, down in quality! I will be contacting the company!!

I'll very well made sprayer, durable and easy to use, and been a four gallon sprayer, your spray more with less fill ups, but if you prefer two gallon or less, you can fill it up to the desired amount of liquid, excellent product.

I am a pest control tech with 15 years of expo I have used this back pac from the beginning I keep it clean inside and out replace the valve on occasion and keep it lubed with the birchmeier grease and have had two in the 15 years that I have been spraying if you take care or the sprayer it will take care of you
