Restating an earlier question in simpler terms: If I use a 5:1 dilution of Bora Care with Mold Care, am I getting totally adequate protection from fungal decay? ... Or would a 2:1 of original Bora Care give markedly better protection from fungal decay? Thanks again.
Per Nisus the manufacturer, if no mold is present there is no need for Boracare with Mold Care. If no wood decay is currently present and its preventative measures only, regular Boracare at the 5:1 preventative rate is all that is needed. You could use the 3:1 label rate for the wood if you prefer, but according to Nisus it is unnecessary unless there is activity of fungi now.
