    How do I mix Bonide Liquid Copper Fungicide Concentrate?
    A

    Unless otherwise stated on product label, mix 0.5 to 2.0 fluid ounces of Bonide Liquid Copper Fungicide Concentrate with 1 gallon of water.

    How much Bonide Copper Fungicide do I use for a gallon sprayer?
    A

    (Using hand or tank sprayers) – Add proper amount (vary depending treatment) of Bonide Copper Fungicide powder to small amount of water, strain, add remainder of water and spray – agitate sprayer to keep nozzle from plugging. Apply 3 gallons of mixed solution to a small tree or bush, 6 gallons of mixed solution to a medium size tree, or 9 gallons of mixed solution to a large tree. Thoroughly spray upper and lower surfaces of foliage to the point of runoff. Do not overspray. This product is intended for small garden use only.

    How much Bonide Copper Fungicide is needed per gallon of water to treat 1000 sq ft. of grapes?
    A

    For grapes, Bonide Copper Fungicide can be mixed at anywhere from 2-26 ounces of product per gallon to treat 1000 sq. ft., not to exceed 11.9 lb. annually.

    Does Bonide Copper Fungicide contain copper octhanolate. Is it a replacement for phyton 27?
    A
    This product contains 7% copper sulfate. The Bonide Liquid Copper Fungicide is a 10% copper Octanoate. We are not sure what Phyton 27 is as we do not carry this product. We suggest you contact the manufacturer Bonide for further information at 1-800-536-8231.

    Bonide Copper Fungicide dust for cabbage in place of Sevin dust
    A
    Bonide Copper Fungicide will treat for disease on plants. Sevin will treat for insects. We do not ssee any way that you could use Bonide Copper in place of Sevin.

    I mixed 1 ounce in 1 gallon of water but did not use it all. Will the solution last.

    Can Bonide Copper fungicide be mixed with Bonide Dead Bug and sprayed at the same time on tomato plants?
    A

    Yes, two Bonide Copper Fungicide and Bonide's Captain Jacks Dead Bug Concentrate can be combined and used in a hose end sprayer. Be sure to do a small tank test to ensure there is no clumping between the two products.

    Can Bonide Copper Fungicide be used mixed with water and applied directly to roots of plants?
    Wish to apply to roots of plants in pots and in garden...do not want to use as a spray
    A

    Bonide Copper Fungicide can be applied as a dust or spray directly to the plant itself. The directions do not say anything about applying to plant root, only to the leaves.  It is not a systemic that is absorbed by plant roots.

    If applying as a spray and not a dust, what is the application rate of Bonide Copper Fungicide per gallon of water for grapes?
    A

    Bonide Copper Fungicide can be used as a dust application or liquid spray application. Refer to page 3 of the product label for information on both types of application.

    For grapes, the mix rate is 2 – 26 oz. If applying as a spray mixed with water, you will add the proper amount of powder to small amount of water, strain, add remainder of water and spray – agitate sprayer to keep nozzle from plugging.

    The product label states to use 3 gallons of mixed solution to a small tree or bush, 6 gallons of mixed solution to a medium size tree, or 9 gallons of mixed solution to a large tree. Thoroughly spray upper and lower surfaces of foliage to the point of runoff. Do not overspray.
