    Is Bonide DuraTurf Crabgrass and Weed Preventer for Lawns and Ornamentals safe for animals/dogs?

    Bonide DuraTurf Crabgrass and Weed Preventer for Lawns and Ornamental Beds should not harm pets as long as label instructions for use are followed and they do not enter the area until the application has time to dry after irrigation. This is usually a few hours after application.

    Will Bonide DuraTurf Crabgrass and Weed Preventer for Lawns and Ornamental Beds provide post emergent control of sandbur?
    A
    Bonide DuraTurf Crabgrass and Weed Preventer is designed to prevent the emergence of sandbur, but it will not eliminate existing sandbur or other weeds.

    Celsius WG is labeled for post emergent control field sandbur. Please view the product label for more information.

    Can Bonide DuraTurf Crabgrass and Weed Preventer for Lawns and Ornamental Beds be used in the summer?
    A

    With Bonide DuraTurf Crabgrass and Weed Preventer for Lawns and Ornamental Beds being a pre emergent you want to apply it when soil temperatures are below 55, generally done in Fall & Spring.
