Why was the chemical makeup changed from the previous product of the same name by this company? It used to have Resmethrin in it.

Fogging around plants and scrubs
I fogged the area around my patio, and firer place wood pile, along with the plants and scrubs. I made sure I didn't fog to the point of dripping from flowers and plants but in a couple of days I noticed the leaves were starting to brown and dry out! …. Is that supposed to do that ?
