This is the 2nd season I have used Bonide Weed Beater. I used it last season on some high weed areas and it worked well. This year I sprayed my whole lawn except where I had zoisagrass. You have to use a different concentration for zoisa. I knew my lawn was in bad shape, but was surprised how bad after spraying and most of my lawn, or what I had been considering lawn, was killed off! Where I did have grass and also where I didn't, it eradicated all but 1 weed - Creeping Charlie. After reading some internet articles it is recommended to apply weed killer to creeping Charlie just before or after frost so it goes dormant with it systemically in it. I sprayed late August, but 2019 September was unusually hot, 80-90 degrees. Some of the CCharlie has brown spots on the leaves so the Bonide did affect it & perhaps is killing it slower than the other weed. I did not notice Bonide actually doing anything to any weeds for about 5 days after spraying, then you could see the other weeds dying. Even though not a carcinogen, I used a kerchief over my nose & mouth and had glasses on, better to err on safety. I will reapply if we ever get a frost in NE Ohio this year! I want this to be Creeping Charlie's last year in my lawn. It killed the wild violets.

I spread it all over my yard, it did not kill the weeds. Very disappointing!!!!

Keep in mind that post emergent applications will always be more effective when applied in warm temperatures with full sunlight when targeted weeds are young and tender. Definitely killed my onion grass weeds. Slowly but death to them none the less....at least for this season. I hope it got down to the bulbs. It does help!
