This site had the best price of the several that I searched. The Mosquito Dunks were recommended to me by our exterminator (he comes annually to spray for ants) because he told me he saw mosquito larvae in a rain barrel we have, and this was the product he recommended. They work fine as far as my limited knowledge goes. They disintegrate over time (some weeks), so you have to keep an eye on them, for replenishing.

These are the only things I can put in my rain barrels to keep the skeeters from breeding. The water is still okay for my plants, too. I live in SW Florida and we have lots of rain and mosquitoes.

We place these where ever there is standing water after a rain (i.e. fountains and rain barrels). These start working as soon as the water hits them and we do not have to remember to go out to these areas of ponding after a rain; the dunks help stop mosquitoes before they can become a pest. Also pricing is good - 2X number of dunks compared to price-quantity at home improvement stores.

Moved onto a 5acres property and in the beginning of rainy season suffered swarms of mosquitoes. I applied dunks 2 days after rainfall and reapplied if rain fell again to all standing water. The mosquiito population dropped, there was no more swarms

I couldn't be more pleased with the service I received from DoMyOwn.com. I ordered a case of the Mosquito Dunks and just a couple of days later they were delivered to my door. I have water gardens and because of the mosquito scare, I feel it's essential to use some kind of mosquito control and I find these Dunks to be the best for me. I had never ordered from DoMyOwn , previously and was a little reluctant to do so however, my fear was unfounded. I bit the bullet and placed an order for the Dunks because of the price. I felt it very fair and the best I could locate, on line. I will definitely re-order from DoMyOwn and would highly recommend anyone else to do so, also. I don't feel you'll be disappointed.

Really fast service and good price. Unfortunately it's still too cold here for mosquitoes to be a problem yet, but I'm sure these will do a great job when required.

Love these dunks! They do the job well for our farm without worry of our livestock being harmed. There is one concern that my bee keeper brought to me. He thinks he sees a attrition to our bees and perhaps the dunks are the reasons. We do not have proof of this

I have a fountain and 2 bird baths in my yard. I place a 1/4 pie of these dunks in each and it keeps the mosquitos from laying egggs and the larva hatching. I am glad I found them. This allows me to keep the birds eating the mosquitos and the standing water free from the mosquito reproduction.

Had a bird bath full of squirming larvae, put in a quarter of a dunk and next morning not a trace. How good is that?

With all the rain we have been getting we have ponds all over our property. The temps have started to warm up now. We have used the mosquito dunks in the past and they work GREAT.... thank you again for such quick response. I received my order in just days.
