For excessivly dry soils, a light watering to the lawn before applying Acelepryn Insecticide would be permitted however watering before the application is not required as you will be using sufficient water volume during the application. Per the product label, use a minimum of 2 gallons of water per 1000 sq ft followed by additional irrigation or rainfall to move the active ingredient into the soil. Do not apply within 48 hrs of rainfall that would cause runoff or flooding. Please refer to the product label for more information for your specific application.
