Can Avenger Weed Killer Concentrate be applied to cut stumps in a pasture with mostly pears and sweetgums? I am applying with a Makutu Wand (pvc tube with a brush) to paint the cut surface.

Answer:

Avenger Weed Killer Concentrate does not give instructions for stump treatments. Per the product label, for harder to kill weeds with a thick cuticle like ivy or vines, it must be mixed with water at a 1:3 ratio. . Fertilome Brush Killer and Stump Killer is labeled for Sweetgum stump applications when applied undliuted directly to the freshly cut stump with a brush. Do not apply directly to, or allow to drift to, Grapes, Vegetable Crops, Flowers, Ornamentals and others.
