The label states to NOT apply this product to Carpetgrass. But if that is the "weed" I want to remove, it would kill that then?
Random warm season grasses like carpetgrass aren't usually a target species on herbicide labels. However, many products like Avenue South Broadleaf Herbicide that are safe for your grass types that target hard to control weeds, usually state "Do not use on carpetgrass/Not safe for carpetgrass". So while Avenue South may not target it, it could possibly damage it if not kill it but we cannot say for certain how long it would take to kill it or if multiple repeat applications would be needed.
