I've applied: Delta Dust in all cracks/crevices, screw holes, etc., on my headboard (I don't have foot board); FenvaStar/Gentrol mixture on metal bed frame; put Climb Ups under all legs; put Diatomaceous Earth around all baseboards. But I'm still getting bitten at night. Plus I wash/dry all bed linens on hot every day. HELP! What can I apply to the mattress encasements to kill the bedbugs and put sheet on bed and sleep there?
Yes, Bedlam Insecticide Spray can be sprayed on your mattress encasement. Delta Dust should only be used in the wall voids. Fenvastar EcoCap should only be used around the baseboards, cracks and crevices, around doors, corners, closets, cabinets, etc. For bed bug treatment only, it can be used around the inside of your bed frame. Diatomaceous Earth is a good product to be used along the carpets and baseboards. If you are seeing the bed bugs, we would recommend the contact killer Steri-Fab. Please also know that these treatments, except the dusts, need to be done more than one time so fully eradicate the bed bugs. The sheets need to be placed in the dryer for at least an hour because bed bugs will die in temperatures of 120F and higher. Also, a good practice would be to vacuum in each room and dump the bag every night. We would recommend reading this bed bug article. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
