Can Bio Advanced Complete Insect Killer For Soil & Turf be applied to soil around infested oak tree to kill Carpenter Ants? I have sprayed a foliar treatment, this is for the soil.

Yes, Bio Advanced Complete Insect Killer For Soil & Turf is labeled in general for ants and contains the non repellent active ingredient Imidacloprid which works great for Carpenter Ants. Per the product label for ants, apply 1 to 3lbs per 1000 sq ft using a rotary or drop type spreaders to apply granules evenly over the lawns, flower beds, ground ocvers and around trees/shrubs.
