Can Bonide Liquid Copper Fungicide Concentrate be used to treat for blight on Dogwoods?

Answer:

Bonide Liquid Copper Fungicide Concentrate does not actually list Dogwoods on the product label therefore we cannot recommend it. Dogwood blight control is difficult, but if you catch it early, you may be able to save the tree by cutting out all diseased tissues. That means all leaves, all twigs, and all branches showing signs of infection must be removed and destroyed promptly.  Fung-onil Multi-Purpose Fungicide contains Chlorothalonil which is known to be effective on Leaf Spots and Foliar Blights on Dogwoods.  Please review the full product label for more information and application rates.  Fungicide applications that are begun after the disease is already present do not provide acceptable disease control according to many online articles.
