Charles from Williamsburg writes

Can Bonide MoleMax RTS be used on a large area of pachysandra that voles are eating the roots?

If not recommended, what would you recommend to kill or repel them?

Answer:

Bonide MoleMax RTS would be a great repellent. However, if you want to use bait, we would recommend using Kaput Rat & Mouse Bait. It imitates the natural food of rats, mice, and voles. The place packs can be placed whole in areas where the rodents feed. Warfarin, the active ingredient, is an anticoagulant that is effective at very low dosages and because of this is considered a low-risk bait with very low secondary and environmental toxicity.
