Can Bonide Systemic Insect Control be used on following types of plants?

Kalanchoe, Bryophyllum, Euphorbia, Pachypod, Alluaudia, Crown of Thorns, Aloes, and other Succulent plants and other common cacti. Most of these plants are from Madagascar.

Answer:

Bonide Systemic Insect Control is labeled for use on roses, flowers, ornamentals, shrubs and shade trees. While this may be safe for use on succulents and cacti, keep in mind that these plants generally have very slow metabolism and are grown in different soil media from more herbaceous plants. So you may not get good results trying to use a systemic product like these granules on succulents or cacti.  You can refer to page 5 on the product label at the list of over 100 plant varieties this product can be used on.  For plants not addressed on the label, you can contact Bonide directly for assistance at (315) 736-8231, or via their website's contact page here.
