Casoron 4G Herbicide is not labeled for use around asparagus therefore would not be recommended. 

Monterey Vegetable and Ornamental Weeder would be an option for a pre emergent herbcide in established asparagus beds after ferns are removed but before spear emergents. Per the product label, this can be applied as a single application to established asparagus.
