Can cats move bed bugs from one room to another?

cant not get a straight answer. i have two cat can they move bed bugs around. i ready to debug my home. with the kits i bought from domyownpestcontrol.com. do i need to take cats out of the home. and yes i geared up for this bug invasion ready for war. thank for all the help domyownpestcontrol.

Answer:

Bedbugs will ideally feed off of humans but will feed off of cats if that is the blood meal that is available. If a bedbug is on one of the cats and the cat moves to a different room, it is possible that the bedbug could fall off of the cat in the other room. Having said that, we have never had a customer that needed to get rid of their pets because of the worry of transferring bedbugs from one room to another. Most folks just treat their pets with a topical flea/tick product which seems to repel bedbugs. We appreciate your business!
