Chris from San Jose, Ca writes

Can copper CuPro 5000 DF be applied to fruit trees as a dormant or delayed dormant spray?

There seems to be some confusion about the use of Copper Hydroxide on crops. Other products with the same active ingredients, such as Nu-Cop 50 DF and Kocide 3000, can be used on fruit trees as a Dormant, Late Dormant, Up to Pink Bud. There are some specific restrictions, however, as to total annual amounts.

Answer:

CuPRO 5000 DF Fungicide is not labeled to be used on anything edible and we would not recommend it.  Please refer to our Edible Fungicide products for the best product to use depending on what you are treating.
