I have a horrible weed and grasshopper problem along side me garage.
This will depend on the specific herbicide you want to mix the insecticide with. We normally do not recommend tank-mixing insecticides and herbicides, in general, so you do not possibly stress your lawn, however, the label does not state the Cy-Kick CS cannot be tank-mixed. If the product label of the herbicide you choose to use states that it can be tank mixed with an insecticide, then we would recommend doing a small jar test and treating a small area first to be sure the products will be compatible and not harm your lawn.
