Can Grass Out Max (Clethodim Herbicide) be applied the same day as overseeding with clover on a ryegrass lawn?

I have carry over rye from last fall i frost seeded into... The rye is thicker than id like and id like to fill in the bare areas, can i spray and overseed the same day with clover

Answer:

No, Grass Out Max (Clethodim Herbicide) could not be applied the same days as overseeding per the product label. You will need to wait 30 days after applying Grass Out Max before planting clover.  Grass Out Max (Clethodim Herbicide) is not labeled to be used in home lawns therefore would not be recommended for this application. We would recommend directly spot treating with a non selective glyphosate herbicide then reseed after 2 weeks from the last application.
