Can Hi-Yield Killzall Aquatic Herbicide be used to kill buttercup in a lawn within 3 ft of a no-bank lake where the lake water is used by residents for drinking water, showering and irrigation?

Answer:

Hi-Yield Killzall Aquatic Herbicide is not labeled for use on lawns. Hi-Yield 2, 4-D Selective Weed Killer would be an alternative for buttercup for use in lawns and along lakes, ponds, resevoirs, etc.
There is no restriction on the use of treated water for irrigation, recreation, or domestic purposes. Per the product label, it is advised that you consult local state fish and game agency and water control authorities before applying this product to public water. Permits may be required to treat such water.
