Can it be used in an attic?

Have 1 year old bldg and found termite colony in attic attacking trusses can I use this product in that area?

Answer:

Termidor SC can only be used in the attic of a home if it is being used to spot treat an active infestation within galleries in wood or within an inaccessible void that the pests are in. Otherwise Termidor SC is an outdoor use only product. Termidor SC cannot be used to spray open areas inside your home or in the crawl space. Termidor SC can only be used inside of wall voids for indoors use. Please take a look at our termite inspection guide https://www.domyown.com/termite-identification-guide-a-476.html to positively identify whether you have Subterranean termites or Drywood termites.  If you have drywood termites in the attic, the most recommended product for your situation would be Bora-Care https://www.domyown.com/boracare-p-100.html. Bora-Care is applied to raw wood for termite control and it will penetrate the entire piece of wood and eradicates an active infestation as well as prevents it. The great thing about Bora-Care is that it is natural, last for the entire life of the wood (never goes away), and dries completely clear.
