Can I mix Boracare with a waterproofing solution to treat a canvas cover?

I currently have Star Brite Waterproofing and would like to mix this with the Boracare 1:1 Will this still provide efficacy for both products?

Answer:

We do not advise to mix any waterproofing product, paint or sealant in the same tank mixture when applying BoraCare. A topcoat with a water-resistant finish such as paint, stain or water sealant is recommended within 6 weeks of the initial BoraCare application for longer performance. This can be done as soon as 48 hrs after the application provided the wood is compltely dry.  BoraCare is applied at 1:1 ratio for curative treatments and a 5:1 ratio for prevenative treatements.  Please review the full product label for more detailed information.
