TZone SE Herbicide does not require the use of a surfactant, and doing so may damage the leaf tissue of turfgrass.  Per the product label: If any discoloration or cosmetic effects are objectionable or would be unacceptable, then adjuvants combined with this product would not be recommended.  Do not use adjuvants and spray additives tank mix combinations unless your experience indicates that the tank mixture will not result in turf injury. Tenacity should be applied along with a surfactant.
