Can I pretreat the back of the drywall with Boracare if I have ICF walls for Termite prevention?

I have an issue with Subterranean termites coming into my basement. I have an ICF foundation and pressure-treated lumber sill. They get in and have destroyed a bookcase and books. We still see signs of them but want to install drywall. Knowing they will attack the drywall paper I would like to pretreat the drywall backing. To prevent them from feeding on it.

Answer:

Yes, Bora-Care can be applied to the raw wood side of drywall. It needs to be diluted at a 1:1 ratio and it can be sprayed on or applied with a paintbrush, coating all exposed surfaces of the wood. Once it has been applied to the drywall and completely dried, it is okay to install.
