Can I put them in my bedroom and inside a cabinet where I have my dishes and food?

Is it safe to put Gentrol in the same cabinet where it has open cereal boxes and other dry food that can't be closed? I know it has to be 3 feet apart from exposed food so would it be safe if I put it near canned food it will be in the same cabinet as the cereal boxes

Answer:

When using Gentrol Point Source in cabinets where food is stored, any opened boxes or packages containing food would need to be placed in a sealed containter or bag while the discs are located in the cabinet.
