I get a lot of mosquitoes due to my pool and am concerned about the Zika Virus. Will this kills any plants or shrubs? When is the best time to spray? What about the rain?
Riptide should not be used around pools and/or in direct water. This product will not kill any plants or shrubs. It is recommended that this product be used in early mornings or late evenings. It is a contact kill so once the product has dried completely, it is no longer working. Rain does not affect the product. A better option would be Talstar P. It is labeled for mosquitoes and has a residual of approximately 30 days outdoors. It can be sprayed on and around bushes, trees, flowers, etc. The mixing ratio is 1 fl. oz. per gallon of water. Once the product has dried completely, it is rainfast and the rain will not affect it.
