Can Safari 20SG Systemic Insecticide with Dinotefuran be applied using a hose end sprayer for soil drenching to control Hemlock woolly adelgid?

Answer:

Safari 20SG Systemic Insecticide with Dinotefuran cannot be applied with a hose-end sprayer as it will not give you the treatment or coverage that you need. It needs to be applied with a low-volume sprayer or you can mix it in a bucket and pour it around the base of the trees.  Please view the product label for more information.
