Cercospora is a leaf spot disease and best treated through foliar spray fungicide applications, soil drench applications would be ineffective. Southern AG Liquid Copper Fungicide does not list crape myrtles on the product label therefore we cannot advise on the rate.
We do carry Bonide Liquid Copper Fungicide that is labeled for leafspot diseases to crape myrtles. Per the product label, mix 0.5 to 2 fl oz per gallon of water, for Black Spot mix 1.44 fl oz per gallon of water. Applications should begin 2 weeks before disease conditions are present for best results.
Refer to the Application Directions on page 3 and 9 of the product label for more information.
