Can Southern AG Thuricide BT Caterpillar Control kill bagworms once they have sealed inside their cocoon/bag?

Our neighborhood in Texas has a bad Bagworm problem and wondering if this will kill them once they are inside their bags.

Answer:

You can apply Southern AG Thuricide BT Caterpillar Control to small bagworms. Once the worms are in their cocoons, you would have to physically remove them or trim off the infested branches as insecticides will not penetrate through the cocoon.  Please view our Bagworm Treatment Guide for more information.
