Barbara from Thornton, Co writes

Can I spray Daconil after the needles of my fir tree have seriously dropped?

I suspect it has Rhabdocline Needlecast and I just noticed it in the past week. Is it too hot to apply to tree? Also, it is not on my lawn, just in the ornamental rocks bordering my back lawn.

Answer:

No, the label also states that this product should be sprayed when the new shoots are 1/2 to 2 inches long. You would spray every 3-4 weeks until dry weather returns. It should not be applied when the weather is sunny/hot.
