I want to spray my hundred year old olive tree with Florel to retard Olive growth, but if I wait till spring when it flowers, my pool will be filled with water and I'm worried that the spray will go into the water and infect the salt water pool. Should I spray my tree now? Or wait until April or May and cover my pool?
Monterey Florel Brand Growth Regulator should not sprayed in a way that could contaminate water used for irrigation or domestic purposes. We would recommend covering the pool if you are concerned that overspray may get into that area. Monterey Florel Brand Growth Regulator should only be applied to ornamental olive and other listed plants at the mid- to full bloom stage, prior to fruit set, and generally when temperatures are between 65 and 85 degress.
